Written by Celine Schneider|Updated: 2025-04-18

How do I get from Manila to Coron? Don't worry – it's simpler than it sounds! First, forget the confusion: most visitors stay in Coron Town (on Busuanga Island), not Coron Island itself. Coron Town is your base – it's cheap, has more hotels, and is just a short boat ride away from Coron Island's famous lagoons.

Getting there is easy. The best way is a 1-1.5 hour Manila to Coron flight (309 km/189 miles) straight to Busuanga Airport.

However, flying isn't the only way. If you have time, you can take a Manila to Coron ferry. Ferry tickets from Manila to Coron are cheaper, around 25 to 55 dollars.

This Manila to Coron guide explains all options – flights, ferries, costs, and tips – so you can start your Coron tour stress-free. Keep reading!
