Nihao! Welcome to Xi’an, which served as the capital for 13 dynasties! Upon your arrival at the airport/train station in Xian, we will meet and greet you at the exit, and then escort you to the well-selected hotel in downtown Xi’an.
Arrival Ideas (Air or Train): Xi'an Xianyang International Airport serves both domestic and international destinations. More, the city offers convenient high-speed train connections to Beijing (4-5.5h), Shanghai (6-7h), Guangzhou (8.5-9h), Hangzhou (7-8h), Pingyao (3h), and Chengdu (4h).
Spend your afternoon at the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda for an authentic Hanfu Costume Experience. Choose your favorite style of this traditional Chinese clothing, a significant symbol of civilization, and wear it while exploring Giant Wild Goose Pagoda.
The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a 1,370-year-old World Heritage site, is a quintessential Tang Dynasty landmark. Standing within the tranquil Da Ci'en Temple, this squarish, seven-story structure was built in AD 652 to house Buddhist sutras brought from India by the monk Xuanzang. His legendary travels eventually inspired the classic Chinese masterpiece, Journey to the West, making the pagoda a true symbol of magnificence.
Optional Activity: Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City (Night Tour)
Your night can spend on Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City next to Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a 1,500-meter-long pedestrian street themed with Tang Dynasty culture, featuring buildings with Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) architecture and sculptures telling Tang stories.

Drive one hour to the Terracotta Warriors Museum to witness one of the world’s greatest archaeological discoveries. Since 1974, these 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers have stood guard over the First Emperor’s tomb. Explore Pits 1, 2, and 3 to see thousands of lifelike warriors, horses, and chariots. Despite being 2,000 years old, these clay remain vivid.
Afterward, create your own miniature Terracotta Warrior under a local potter’s guidance. This hands-on experience reveals ancient pottery techniques and the rich culture of the Qin Dynasty. By crafting a warrior step-by-step, you will gain a deeper appreciation for the wisdom and craftsmanship of this historic era.
Afternoon, explore well-preserved bathing ruins like the Lotus and Star Pools at Huaqing Palace, a 3,000-year-old imperial retreat. The site is most famous for the legendary romance between Emperor Xuanzong and his consort, Yang Guifei, who shared the palace's celebrated hot springs.
Optional Show: The Song of Everlasting Sorrow
Catch a performance of The Song of Everlasting Sorrow at Huaqing Palace to see an ancient imperial romance unfold on stage. Keep in mind that if this show is fully booked, we will switch to the Xi'an Legend (Qianguqing) in town. That show will journey through 6,000 years of Xi'an’s powerful legacy.

In this morning, your local guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a memorable trip to Mount Huashan, located 118km away and about 1.5-2 hours' drive.
