Located about 40 km (about 1 hour’s drive) from the city, the museum showcases the incredible legacy of Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of China, who commissioned this vast underground army to protect him in the afterlife.

Start your visit at Pit 1, the largest and most awe-inspiring of the excavation pits, believed to contain over 6,000 life-sized terracotta soldiers and horses.
