Victoria Sabrina from Chongqing to Yichang

We took the Victoria Sabrina from Chongqing to Yichang. The boat was lovely. It was the one that had the most recent refurbishment and the cabins were good along with the rest of the boat. However we encountered 'fog' our entire trip. The boat had to stop and anchor for a while so we actually did very little cruising during day time hours. Spent lots of time anchored while the optional tours went ahead,.Meals were okay but agree with other reviews was that its a free for all and the food wasnt very hot. The captains farewell banquet was lovely as it was served at the table and was freshly cooked.

Excellent Cruise on the Victoria Cruise Ship " Sabrina"

We did a 4 night cruise on the Yangtze river as part of our tour. The ship is not as luxurious as the river cruise ships in Europe but was more than fine. Meals were great and staff was terrific. Upon arrival at the ship signs were on the table stating upgraded cabins were available. We had read about this in travel blogs before our trip. Breakfast was a buffet and you selected your dinner choices from an extensive list of options at that time. The staff put on a floor show every night in the main lounge sometimes including some passengers. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this cruise.

Relaxing

Did a 3 night cruise on the Yangtze River as part of a 2 week package tour. It was the only time we got to relax. The scenery was magnificent, you couldn’t really fathom what you were seeing. The incredible Gorges are just stunning. Our ship was the “Sabrina” & it was comfortable & the staff helpful & very friendly. Definitely add it to your itinerary if you are thinking of going to China.
