Meet with your guide and driver and start the tour heading Elsentasarkhai, a scenic area represents Gobi desert, mountain steppes, and steppes. First, we will drive out of the city. Next, bicycle about 20-30 km or longer on rough roads. It is the first day you feel the wideness and emptiness of Mongolia. We load the bikes on the vehicles when having enough biking. Arrive at Elsetasarkhai and visit a nomad family. Learn first-hand about the nomadic life.

Continue to discover the nomadic life, ride horses and camels. You also bike 15 km to Hugnu Khan Mountain. Alternatively, you may cycle an additional 15 km instead of driving back the nomadic family. Have an authentic Mongolian barbecue for dinner.

After breakfast, we continue to cycle for 40 km. You can choose to bike on a rough road or paved roads. Arrive at Kharkhorin by lunchtime. Kharkhorin, formerly known as Kharakhorum, was once the capital of Chinggis Khaan's Great Mongol Empire in the 13th century. After the move of the Mongolian capital to Beijing, and the fall of the Empire, Karakorum was abandoned and then destroyed by Min soldiers in 1388. Today, in the vast valley of the Orkhon River, the awe-inspiring ancient monastery Erdenezuu coexists with Kharkhorin town. See some valuable religious artifacts in the monastery museum, view its stunning architecture and the Kharakhorum Museum display remnants of the ancient city.

First, we drive for some kilometers and next, start the rough roads cycling adventures on the vast open steppes. Our today's tour takes place in the transition zone from mountain steppes to the Gobi desert. Today’s entire cycling road will be rough and cycle approximately 40 km. There were two separate monasteries built on the north and the south banks of the Ongi River. During the repression of the 1930s, the monasteries destroyed. The monastery ruins covering vast areas left in the middle of the Gobi Mountains. Visit the monastery ruins, new and small temple and a ger museum.

Baga Gazariin Chuluu is a complex of granite rock mountains towering on the Gobi desert steppes. Today, we will have 40 km of biking. Have a picnic lunch and some hiking through the granite stone mountains.

Today, we will return to Ulaanbaatar with 30-35 km of rough roads cycling on the way. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, check-in a hotel and free time.
