Jiuzhaigou Tours 2024/2025 | Best Jiuzhaigou Tour Packages

Breaking News: Traveling to Jiuzhaigou is now easier than ever! The high-speed train from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou is fully operational, allowing you to board a bullet train from Chengdu Dong Station (成都东) to HuanglongJiuzhai Station (黄龙九寨站) in about 1.5-2 hours.

Travel to Jiuzhaigou Valley and Huanglong National Park, two of China's most magnificent natural wonders, where every turn of your head unveils a breathtaking spectacle. Discover a world where nature's palette bursts with colors so vivid they seem almost unreal. Jiuzhaigou Valley, often referred to as a "fairyland," sprawls across the northern part of Sichuan Province. It's a place where emerald lakes mirror the sky, waterfalls cascade down rugged cliffs, and dense forests echo with the whisper of wind and wildlife. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is more than just a feast for the eyes; it's a retreat for the soul. A two-hour drive from Jiuzhaigou brings you to Huanglong National Park, an equally enchanting place famed for its colorful calcite deposit terraces. The park's name translated as "Yellow Dragon," is an homage to the golden hue of these terraces, reminiscent of a dragon's scales. When you choose a tour of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, you're not just signing up for a trip; you're embarking on a journey of discovery and wonderment, a journey that will stay etched in your memory long after you've left these magical valleys behind.

Planning Your Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Tours from Chengdu

It's a good idea to spend 2-3 days visiting Jiuzhaigou. Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are located in northern Sichuan, about 425km from Chengdu. The opening of the high-speed train between Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou has made travel significantly faster. We highly recommend taking the train from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival at Huanglong Jiuzhai Station, you can first visit Huanglong National Park, which is only 30 minutes away. Then, spend another full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park.

In addition to the high-speed train, travelers can also reach Jiuzhaigou by flight (approximately 1 hour) or by car (around 8-10 hours). We recommend spending 2 or 3 days in Jiuzhaigou to fully explore both Huanglong National Park and Jiuzhaigou Valley.

We're here to help you tailor your tour to your preferences; share your ideas with us, and we'll customize an itinerary that suits your desires.

    3) Dress appropriately: The weather in Jiuzhaigou can be unpredictable, so make sure to pack warm clothes and comfortable shoes. Bring a raincoat or umbrella in case of rain.

6-day Chongqing-Zhangjiajie-Chengdu Tour
We booked a private tour for 5 because we prefer the customisation and flexibility. Our tour operator Isaac was very helpful and prompt in responding and we finalized the tour itinerary satisfactorily over 1-2 days. Booking the tour and meeting with the different tour guides and drivers in 3 places was seamless. Experience (food+sights) was amazing, especially in Zhangjiajie where the nature views are exactly like real life Chinese water paintings. But be prepared that the weekend attractions will be thronged by both international and domestic tourists, and the queues can be long. The sights are worth it nonetheless!
