Guilin is situated in South China, well linking by air and high speed rail. Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is 30km west of the Guilin downtown area and travelers can take flights to Guilin from Hong Kong (1.5 hours), Chengdu (1.5 hours), Shanghai (3 hours), Beijing (3 hours), Xian (2 hours), Chongqing (1.5 hours). After breakfast, you’ll set off for the famous Li River Cruise, named one of the "World’s Top 10 Watery Wonders" by National Geographic. A one-hour drive will take you to the pier, where you’ll begin a relaxing 4.5-hour cruise to Yangshuo. Along the scenic 84-kilometer route, marvel at the ever-changing views of emerald rivers, lush karst peaks, grazing water buffalo, farmers working in rice fields, and quaint villages nestled at the foot of the hills. (Note: A simple local Chinese lunch will be served on board.)

Upon arrival in Yangshuo, your driver will meet you at the dock and transfer you to your hotel for a short rest. In the afternoon, explore the Yangshuo countryside on a leisurely bike ride through postcard-perfect karst hills and tranquil rice paddies, passing by peaceful villages. Alternatively, you can rent an electric scooter for a different experience (optional, with an extra fee).

Later, enjoy a stroll along the bustling West Street, a lively fusion of Western and Chinese cultures. Lined with restaurants, bars, and shops, this vibrant street offers something for everyone. Whether you want to sip coffee, sample local delicacies, or soak in the lively atmosphere, West Street is the perfect place to end your day.

After breakfast, you’ll return to Guilin for further exploration. Start with a visit to Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin, where the hill resembles an elephant drinking from the river. Next, head to Reed Flute Cave, a stunning showcase of Guilin’s unique karst formations. The cave’s illuminated stalactites and stalagmites form shapes that resemble animals and plants, creating a dreamlike ambiance.
