Second Class Seat: Most tourists traveling from Chengdu to Mount Emei opt for the second-class seat due to its lower price. The ticket price ranges from $8.27 to $8.69. While second-class seats offer basic comfort, they have limited seat adjustments, fewer charging outlets, and no reading lights. Arrival Station: Emeishan Railway Station

There are two train stations in Emei Mountain:

Get to Mount Emei from Emeishan Railway Station

Upon arriving at Emeishan High-Speed Railway Station, you have two transportation options to reach Mount Emei: bus or taxi. Buses offer a more budget-friendly choice, but if you encounter situations like overcrowding or excessive waiting times, opting for a taxi might be more convenient.

Take Bus to Mount Emei: To access the Mount Emei Scenic Area, depart from the front square of Emeishan High-Speed Rail Station and board Bus No. 8. This route will take you directly to Tianxia Mingshan Archway, the entrance to the scenic area. The journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The fare is $0.14 per person.

Take A Taxi to Mount Emei: You can take a taxi directly to Baoguo Temple. The bus ride is approximately 6 kilometers and the fare is less than $1.40.

Chengdu to Mount Emei Bus

There are three main bus routes from Chengdu to Mount Emei: Xinnanmen Bus Station (新南门汽车站), Chengdu East Bus Station (成都东站), and North Gate Bus Station (成都北门汽车站). For the cheapest tickets and most frequent departures, choose Xinnanmen Bus Station. For buses with more spacious seats, consider Chengdu East Bus Station or North Gate Bus Station.

Xinnanmen Bus Station:

Buses to Mount Emei depart from Xinnanmen Bus Station as early as 7:40 AM and as late as 6:40 PM. Morning departures are generally every hour starting at 8:30 AM, while afternoon departures may have slightly longer intervals between them.

Chengdu East Bus Station:

Buses to Mount Emei depart from the Chengdu East Bus Station as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 6:00 PM. The frequency of departures is approximately every 2-3 hours.

Beimen Bus Station:

Buses to Mount Emei depart from Beimen Bus Station as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 6:00 PM. The frequency of departures is approximately every 2-4 hours.
